Manage local EchoLeaf data, Apple sign-in, and subscriptions separately.
Updated October 29, 2026 · iPhone & MacSign out without deleting
Open EchoLeaf’s menu and choose Account on iPhone, or Account & settings on Mac. Select Sign out to lock dictation and hide that account’s content.
Saved history, drafts, dictionary entries, pending recordings and the usage ledger remain on that device. Signing back into the same Apple account makes the saved content available again.
Delete local data on iPhone
Finish or discard an active recording before deleting account data. This action cannot be undone.
- Open EchoLeaf’s top-left menu and choose Account.
- Select Delete account data and read the confirmation.
- Confirm to remove that account’s local history, drafts, dictionary, saved recordings, profile and usage ledger.
Delete local data on Mac
This removes the account’s EchoLeaf content and usage ledger from this Mac. The action cannot be undone.
- Open EchoLeaf’s top-left menu and choose Account & settings.
- Select Delete account and review the confirmation.
- Confirm the deletion. Repeat on any other device whose local EchoLeaf data you also want removed.
Manage or cancel a subscription
Signing out, deleting EchoLeaf, or deleting local account data does not cancel an Apple subscription. If you have an active subscription, use Manage subscription in EchoLeaf or open Apple’s subscription settings.
Restore purchases checks for an existing eligible subscription; it does not restart the paid period or request a refund. Subscription products are not yet available in the current development release.
