App license

EchoLeaf’s apps link to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement for the app license. Read that agreement through the link below.

Open-source components retain their respective licenses. The iPhone app includes an Open-source licenses screen in Settings, and the Mac app bundles its component licenses.

Availability

The apps are currently in development. This website does not provide a public App Store download or an active subscription checkout. Features and availability may change before release.

The iPhone and Mac editions are installed separately. A shared subscription across both platforms has not been announced.

Free usage and Pro

The current free allowance is 1,500 words each week on iPhone and 2,500 on Mac, resetting Monday at 00:00 UTC. Each emoji counts as one word. Usage is maintained separately on each device.

Pro is intended to provide unlimited words. Subscription products and final prices are not yet available. When available, the app will show the price and billing period supplied by the App Store before you confirm a purchase. Reaching the free allowance does not automatically charge you.

Apple purchases

When subscriptions are available, Apple will handle payment through your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel through Apple’s subscription settings.

Deleting the app, signing out or deleting local account data does not cancel a subscription. Restore purchases checks existing access and does not create a new subscription period.

Review your words

Speech recognition, punctuation, corrections and emoji matching can make mistakes. Review the completed text before sending or relying on it. Language coverage, processing time and compatibility depend on the device, selected language and destination app.
